Bournemouth School CCF Annual Inspection Day

Each year, the contingent is subject to an inspection to ensure that equipment has been appropriately maintained, accounts are in good order and that the cadet training and syllabus is well-managed.  Inspection Day also offers the cadets an opportunity to proudly demonstrate the new skills that they have developed over the last 12 months.  As an example, these might include signaling, camouflage and concealment and field survival skills.

The day will typically start with a formal parade, including a guard of honour and CCF band, to greet the visiting Staff Officer. This will be followed by a demonstration of cadet activities.

During the remainder of the day, the visiting Officer's staff will review the contingent's assets, inspect the school's armoury and reconcile issued equipment to the inventory ledgers.
