"Plume of Feathers" Dartmoor
Weekend 
|
|
Following the great success of the annual COMPO dinner, a number of COMPO members have
proposed getting together
for a night's drinking at the legendary Plume
of Feathers pub situated in Princetown, Dartmoor.
The
Plume of Feathers holds a special place in every cadet's heart as
they recall walking down off the open moors and pitching camp in the
fields behind the pub.

There is no fixed format, is likely to involve an
early evening arrival at the Plume of Feathers in anticipation of plenty of ale, the famous "Plume"
mixed
grill, skittles and sleeping over in the newly developed and cheap
bunkhouse at the back of the pub.
For those feeling
particularly keen, we may even organise a short trot out across the
moors; all the better for building up a thirst!

| The date for the proposed weekend has not yet been finalised, but is likely to be in
Spring 2003.
|
| We don't expect to lay on transport for you, but will help
organise groups of cars if necessary. Let us know if you expect to take
your own car and have space or if you will need help.
